Dianne and I are just back into the studio after a very relaxing 4 weeks off on our annual leave, and my gosh it was fantastic! However, what is even more wonderful is the fact that our very first shoot this year was with Sarah, who flew all the way from Ohio, USA, for a shoot with us. Yes friends, now that is an impressive effort and quite an honour for us that we feel deep in our happy hearts…

What an absolutely magnificent year! Thank you our dear community for supporting us by booking your magnificent shoots. It’s been a brilliant year with 339 of you booking to experience one (or two or three) of our photoshoots.

Since our beloved Marija has moved into a full-time retouching role, it means that she can travel the world while still working with us. We have just had a blessed 8 months of Marija being in the studio, laughing, creating, loving and supporting each other, but alas for us, it’s time for Marija to head to Europe again.

Last week we made some more Victorian Wytches & Vampyrs props and costuming on one of our craft days, AKA Dopamine Days. Dianne has been sculpting and rhinestoning an anatomical heart and it is looking incredible, and I have been working on a headpiece for the Wytches costuming, which is also coming together incredibly – if I do say so myself.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for each and every one of you that donated to our Walk for WAGEC 2023 fundraiser. Thank to the generous donations from our beloved Sherbet Birdie community, we raised $1,341 contributing to the total record-breaking amount of $374,000!

Last week was an exciting one for Sherbet Birdie Photography, as we entered into our production phase for our new Wytches and Vampyres set. We've been working tirelessly on the design and construction of this set, and we're thrilled to have finally reached this beginning stage of the process.
